Asso Molecular Shield is a Fluorocarbon coated monofilament with a revolutionary structure made with three polymers instead of the traditional two. The third polymer creates a protective shield around every single molecule that makes up the monofilament, making it 12 times more resistant to abrasion than a traditional line. This technology is an alternative to the use of silicone which generally has the disadvantage of reducing the breaking strength.
